Team Policies
In an effort to develop
excellence in gymnastics, promote a feeling of self-worth, successful
experiences, discipline, and open communication; Flyaways Gold has
instituted the following team policies:

As part of a team your participation is a year
round commitment and involves payment for all 12 months. If practice is cancelled for
any reason, the staff will do their best to offer a make-up in such cases where
applicable.

Gymnasts are expected to attend all practices
during the competition season.

Notify the coaching staff prior to any missed
practice. Absences due to extended
illness or injury will be handled on an individual basis. Please inform the staff of vacations and
other extended absences two weeks prior to the absence. There will be no make-ups offered for missed
practices.

Please make every effort to adhere to the
assigned schedule. Extenuating circumstances
can be discussed with the Team Director.

Unexcused or excessive absences may call for a
parent conference and may prevent a gymnast from competing in an upcoming meet.
·
If a gymnast fails to maintain the skills
required at their level, a parent conference will be called to establish a plan
to get the gymnast caught up.
·
Gymnasts are required to attend all local meets,
including invitational meets that we choose to attend as a club. Meets that are optional will be noted as
such.
·
Gymnasts must maintain an 80% attendance and participation rate.
